OBJECTIVES
- To encourage and foster the advancement of international understanding, better human relations, friendship, good will, and peace through a world fellowship of men and women of good will.
- To honor and respect the law, to serve humanity, and to uphold worthy ideals and institutions of one’s country.
- To work for international accord and support the cause of international cooperation.
- To give primacy to the human and spiritual, rather than to the material aspects of life.
- To promote higher ethical standards in business, industry, the professions, the public sector, and private endeavors.
- To promote the peace, welfare, and security of humankind through education and to generate friendship, understanding, and good will among the peoples of the world.
- To encourage its members to make education a never-ending process of education of one’s intellectual resources.
- To promote the teaching and learning of Esperanto, the most widely used auxiliary language for international communication, and to collaborate with national and international Esperanto associations.
- To cooperate with other organizations whose goals and purposes are compatible with this Society and which contribute to good human relations and world peace.
- To accomplish the purposes of this Society, members are encouraged to meet as often as possible for fellowship and to acquire a broader knowledge of national and international affairs
and community needs, thus becoming better prepared to solve common problems.
